Bezeichnung für verschiedene amerikanische Denominationen, die hauptsächlich für Abkömmlinge der Pfingstbewegung und der Heiligungsbewegung, aber auch von den Baptisten und den Siebententags-Adventisten verwendet. Der Name "Church of God" wurde "erstmals von John Winnebrenner für die General Eldership of the Church of God in North America (später Gemeinde Gottes (Anderson))" verwendet wird.
